Valley of fire + Vegas

In the beginning of the month I had a trip to Las Vegas.

Every time I’m out there I’m trying  to see something I haven’t seen before.

Last time I went to check out the Hoover Damn, Grand Canyon, National Parks etc. but this time it was time for the Valley of fire and the Las Vegas strip.

Even though I’ve been to Vegas few times before, I’ve never walked around the strip. I always chose to see the parks and go hiking. I’m glad I finally found the time to check out what Vegas had to offer.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

Utah- New Year

Happy New Year!!!

What better way to spend the New Years than snowboarding in Utah?

This was my first time in Utah, I was very excited about the trip. I’ve heard so many great things about this beautiful state, it was on my list of places to visit.

We stayed at the Downtown Marriott in Salt Lake City. It was a great location with lots to do within walking distance including the City Creek Center which had a creek with trout running through it!

There was spa around the corner that I went to and LOVED  (more about it on the bottom of this post)

We went snowboarding for a couple of days at Park City and Brighton resort, each for a day. We finished the trip with a snowmobiling adventure, which was so much fun! We started up at 7,000 feet and ended up watching sunset from a cabin at 9,000 feet and riding back to the base at night.

What a great way to start a new year:)

Check out my photo diary below.

Xoxo Eva.

Spa day 🙂

One of the days I went to a nearby spa called a Spaday . I don’t usually write about places like that, but this one  deserves it. I’ve been to many spas, and this one was definitely different.

When you first walk in the design of the place is very bright, unique and clean. Big half moon windows overlooking the city, comfortable couch, branches with flowers and a rustic table with a modern chair-Love!

I was lucky enough to get a treatment done by the owner Pauliina, who was super sweet and definitely knew what she was doing. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City I highly recommend visiting Spaday!

Maui, Hawaii- dream trip

Since I can remember going to Hawaii was #1 on my list of places to visit. I made it a goal to come here before I turn 30.

I can’t even begin to tell  you how happy I am to be here and how absolutely stunning this place really is.

We’re lucky enough to be staying in a beautiful Marriott resort and spa located in the Wailea area. The resort is located right on the ocean from where you can see the other islands as well as gorgeous sunsets. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning your trip out here. Absolutely stunning property.

Here are few pictures from our first few days over there.

Grand Canyon

Traveling and visiting new places has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’m lucky enough that I have a job that let’s me travel and see those “dream” destinations.

The Grand Canyon was on my bucket list for as long as I can remember, so I was incredibly happy to finally go and see it. It’s one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and very few people are lucky enough to be able to see it. I’m grateful that I was one of them..and I’m grateful especially for the way I saw it, from the Helicopter.

In Nevada we ended up staying at the beautiful JW Marriott spa and resort which is located very close to the Red Rock National Park (another beautiful place which I visited on my previous trip there, check it out here)

At first we wanted to do a little road trip to the Canyon, but seeing it from the birds view seemed like a much better idea, plus being able to land on the bottom of it seemed like a one of a kind experience. Therefore we ended up taking a Helicopter tour.

It was a 2 hr trip with lunch included. We flew to the bottom of the canyon and had sandwiches and champagne (what?!)

It was as cool as it sounds and the views were spectacular!

Another destination checked off my list -Check! yay!
