Where the sky meets the ocean

Hallandale Beach, Florida

Creating this blog was another creative outlet where we could express our inspirations, share the items that we’re currently  in love with and tell you about the places that we think you should go visit. All these elements represent our lifestyle and we hope you will enjoy them just as much as we do…there’s so much more to come.

It’s finally Fall most of us are  trying to enjoy the sun and (just like us) upgrade  our wardrobe for the cooler season. We decided to do our first post about the color blue, which represents the ocean, the sky and the change of seasons.

Whether it’s the color of the sky or the ocean; the possibilities are endless. From aqua to navy to turquoise to cobalt-the choice is yours.

We included not only our playful sense of fashion that we wear everyday, but also our home decor suggestions through our beautiful photography.

Blue Energy

Blue gives a feeling of distance. Artists use it to to show perspective. This is a good way to understand the energy of the color blue – it allows us to look beyond and increase our perspective outward. It contains a cool vibration that is helpful to communication.

The vibration if blue can be used to open energy flow where it is blocked. Using blue to relax will encourage feelings of communication and peace.

Put some blue in your life when you want:

    • calm and relaxation to counteract chaos or agitation
    • to open the flow of communication
    • to broaden your perspective in learning new information
    • solitude and peace

      Wearing Blue

    • Wear dark blues for a stable, calm conservative feeling. All shades of blue will help to make easy communication, whether it is with yourself or others. Use blue paper for notes when you want help in remembering a speech or other information.

    • Design
    • All of us have those moments when we want to upgrade our furniture or change the color of the walls, or maybe change the curtains in the living room, don’t we ladies?
    • Since we strongly believe that accessories can do the trick, why not add couple of the blue pillows or blue candles?
    • We’re not suggesting you to buy/turn everything blue, but adding few elements is always a good idea.
      • I’m sure a lot of you are crafty:
    • You can refresh that grandma’s armoire that’s probably in the basement collecting dust; just paint it in a new surprising hue (We suggest using lacquer for that glossy finish)
    • Are you into gardening? Put those blue Hydragenas in a vase.
    • Painting one wall can also make a huge impact in the space.
    • Gray walls also go amazing with blue accents. It makes the space feel sophisticated and serene.
    • Do you surf and your surfboard happens to be blue? Mine is, and I put it in the corner to use it as an art piece.
    • We chose a couple of items that we think can add that “blue effect” to your space.
